Job Title: Fire Safety Officer
Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Fire & Safety, Fire Engineering, or equivalent certification.
Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in fire safety and emergency management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of fire protection systems, extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, and emergency exits.
- Organize fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises.
- Train employees on fire prevention, emergency response, and safety procedures.
- Investigate fire incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain fire safety equipment, records, inspection reports, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with local fire authorities and ensure timely renewal of fire safety approvals.
- Promote a safe working environment by identifying and mitigating fire hazards.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of fire safety laws and emergency response procedures.
- Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
- Proficiency in maintaining safety documentation and conducting safety training.
