Essential Qualification
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, Labour Welfare, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University with a consistently sound academic record.
- Sound knowledge of Human Resource Management practices, labour laws, statutory compliance, recruitment processes, and employee relations.
Desirable Qualification
- Ph.D. in Human Resource Management, Management, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification in Human Resource Management will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of UGC regulations, NEP 2020, NAAC/NBA requirements, HRMS/ERP systems, payroll management, and higher education governance.
- Excellent drafting, policy formulation, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resource Management.
- At least 7 years in a senior managerial or leadership position.
- Experience in universities, higher educational institutions, research organizations, or reputed corporate organizations is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in strategic HR planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, policy development, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the University's Human Resource policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and induction of academic, administrative, and technical personnel.
- Establish transparent performance appraisal, promotion, and employee development systems.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, and University policies.
- Maintain employee service records, HR documentation, payroll coordination, and HRMS/ERP systems.
- Develop employee welfare, engagement, training, and leadership development programmes.
- Coordinate grievance redressal, disciplinary proceedings, and POSH compliance.
- Support NAAC, NIRF, UGC, AICTE, and other regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Advise the University leadership on organizational development, succession planning, and workforce optimization.
- Foster a professional, ethical, inclusive, and high-performance work culture across the University.
General Information
- Salary and benefits shall be as per 6th pay and DA as per University norms and commensurate with qualifications, experience, and achievements.
- Higher remuneration may be offered to exceptionally deserving candidates.
- Candidates with exposure to NEP 2020 implementation, accreditation processes (NAAC/NBA), NIRF, innovation ecosystems, and institutional development shall be preferred.
