As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in developing scalable data solutions, improving data quality, and ensuring our analytics platform supports business decision-making across the organization.
Your Role: Make an Impact
In this role, you will be part of the Data Foundation and Insights team, helping build and maintain trusted, scalable, and high-quality data products. You will collaborate closely with data engineers and business stakeholders to ensure our data platform delivers reliable insights and supports future growth.
As one of the team's technical specialists, you will drive data modeling standards, guide solution design, and act as a quality gatekeeper through code reviews and QA/QC processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise-grade data models for analytics and reporting
- Lead technical design and optimization of Databricks ETL/ELT solutions
- Develop and enhance Power BI semantic models, datasets, and reporting frameworks
- Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members
- Establish and promote best practices for data engineering and modeling
- Support root-cause analysis and resolution of complex data and reporting issues
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
Your Profile
We are looking for a data specialist who enjoys solving complex data challenges and can combine deep technical expertise with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
To Succeed in This Role
- Minimum seven years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics is required
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise data modeling is mandatory
- Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT solutions in Databricks using Spark
- Solid experience developing and optimizing Power BI semantic models, datasets, and DAX calculations
- Advanced SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts such as star schema and dimensional modeling
- Experience performing code reviews, technical governance, and quality assurance
- Good collaboration skills and the ability to mentor less experienced team members
- Proficient English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly in writing and speech
