Job Title: Retail Merchandiser – Textile Showroom
Salary: 30000 to 40000 (per month)
Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage textile collections based on customer demand and fashion trends
- Coordinate with suppliers, weavers, and manufacturers for sourcing fabrics and garments
- Maintain showroom product displays and visual merchandising standards
- Monitor stock levels, inventory movement, and replenishment
- Analyze sales performance and customer buying patterns
- Assist in pricing, promotions, and seasonal merchandising activities
- Ensure proper assortment of sarees, ethnic wear, fabrics, and accessories
- Work closely with sales and purchase teams
- Track market trends, colors, fabrics, and competitor activities
- Maintain vendor relationships and support negotiations
Skills Required
- Knowledge of handicrafts and accessories.
- Strong communication and customer handling skills
- Inventory and stock management knowledge
- Basic Excel / ERP software knowledge
- Visual merchandising and showroom display skills
- Good coordination and negotiation abilities
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in a textile showroom or retail merchandising in handicrafts and accessories
