Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver English lessons as per the CBSE curriculum and school academic plan.
- Teach phonics, vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and creative writing.
- Foster effective communication skills and confidence in spoken English.
- Design and conduct assessments, worksheets, and activities to evaluate learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate academic records and student portfolios.
- Identify students needing additional academic support and provide remedial instruction.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.
- Encourage reading habits and participation in storytelling, debates, and language activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in school events, trainings, and professional development programs.
- Follow school policies, child protection guidelines, and CBSE norms.
Academic & Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in English / Education or a related field.
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
- Strong command over spoken and written English.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to use innovative teaching strategies and digital learning tools.
Experience
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE or reputed school preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may also be considered.
