Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and enforcing site-specific health and safety policies.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and worker induction sessions under the guidance of senior safety personnel.
- Monitor site activities and identify potential hazards, reporting observations to the project team.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.
- Support regular safety inspections of scaffolding, electrical systems, work-at-height activities, and other site operations.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident logs, and permit-to-work documentation.
- Assist in investigating near-misses, incidents, and accidents, and help implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to promote safe work practices.
- Support emergency preparedness activities, including fire safety drills and evacuation procedures.
- Ensure safety measures are implemented without affecting the heritage significance of the structure being restored.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or Diploma/BE in Civil Engineering with certified safety training.
- 1–3 years of experience in construction or project safety.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety regulations, safety standards, and risk assessment procedures.
- Familiarity with safety documentation and reporting processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP or digital documentation experience is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to workplace safety.
- Willingness to work on heritage restoration and conservation projects.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
