VTL Operator – 8–10 Years Experience
Job Description:
- Operate and set up VTL machines for machining various components as per drawing and specifications.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, machining dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T.
- Perform machine setting, tool selection, tool offset, and parameter adjustments.
- Handle roughing, finishing, boring, facing, turning, grooving, and drilling operations.
- Inspect finished components using vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
- Identify and troubleshoot machining, tooling, and dimensional issues.
- Carry out tool changes and maintain proper tool life.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain 5S standards in the shop floor.
- Coordinate with supervisors and quality teams to resolve production and quality issues.
- Maintain machine, tool, and production records.
Experience: 8–10 years in VTL Machine Operation/Setting.
Qualification: ITI / Diploma – Mechanical preferred.
Skills: VTL Operation, CNC/VTL Setting, Drawing Reading, Tool Offset, Measurement Instruments, Quality Inspection, Troubleshooting, and 5S.
