An Electrician in the hotel industry is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure smooth hotel operations and guest safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Perform preventive maintenance of electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns
- Maintain lighting systems, power supply panels, generators, and emergency systems
- Handle electrical maintenance in guest rooms, banquet halls, kitchen, laundry, and public areas
- Attend guest complaints related to electrical issues promptly
- Ensure proper functioning of HVAC electrical connections and control panels
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams
- Maintain daily maintenance logs and reports
- Follow hotel safety standards and electrical regulations
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to read electrical drawings and diagrams
- Basic knowledge of generators, panels, motors, and UPS systems
- Problem-solving and technical skills
