Job Summary:
Responsible for washing, drying, ironing, and handling customer garments with proper care and hygiene standards in a franchise laundry store.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Washing & Cleaning
2. Sort clothes based on fabric, color, and washing instructions
3. Operate washing machines and dryers properly
4. Use detergents and chemicals in correct quantity
5. Ironing & Finishing
6. Iron clothes neatly (steam iron / press machine)
7. Ensure wrinkle-free finishing as per standards
8. Fold and pack garments properly
9. Garment Care
10. Identify stains and apply basic stain removal techniques
11. Handle delicate fabrics carefully
12. Avoid damage, color fading, or shrinkage
13. Machine Handling
14. Operate laundry machines safely
15. Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of equipment
16. Report any machine issues immediately
17. Customer Handling (if required)
18. Understand customer instructions
19. Ensure timely delivery of clothes
20. Maintain polite behavior with customers
21. Store Hygiene & Discipline
22. Maintain cleanliness of work area
23. Follow safety and hygiene standards
24. Adhere to store timings and rules
Skills Required:
1. Basic knowledge of washing & ironing techniques
2. Ability to operate laundry machines
3. Attention to detail (fabric care, finishing quality)
4. Time management skills
5. Physically fit for standing work
Experience:
1. (1–3) years in laundry / dry-cleaning preferred
2. Freshers can be considered with basic training
Salary:
As per experience + incentives (if applicable)
Working Hours:
10–11 hours shift (including peak hours/weekends)

3. Ensure zero garment damage complaints
