Faculty Job Description:
A faculty member is in charge of the education of their students, and it is expected of them to exhibit a strong dedication to their subject as well as a high level of professionalism. Their duties include teaching, counselling students, research and creative endeavours, service and cooperative extension, and administrative functions.
Required Qualifications:
- B. Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology (Mandatory)
- Post Graduation/PGDM in Medical Laboratory Technology (Preferred)
- Excellent Communication Skills (English and Hindi)
- 2-5 Years Experience in relevant field (Mandatory)
Faculty Duties And Responsibilities
Faculty members are responsible for the overall planning, execution, and evaluation of the learning experience. The faculty is in charge of organising lectures, seminars, and practicals. The faculty member’s advising duties include helping the students to choose classes that will help them achieve their educational goals, majors or minors that are compatible with their goals. Furthermore, they evaluate student development and performance in light of predetermined standards and criteria. A faculty may also carry out the additional responsibilities, such as:
- Collaborating with students through guidance, mentorship, and tutoring to achieve their personal and professional objectives
- Visiting different academic institutions to take part in learning opportunities and gain experience
- Taking part in programme creation and evaluation activities
- Taking part in departmental meetings and committee work
- Recruiting new students, assisting with interviews, and supporting academic counselling sessions
- Assisting in the development of a culture that encourages development, equality, and freedom of speech
- Contributing to the creation of the curriculum, grading papers, and giving feedback
