Key Responsibilities
The engineer must be capable of independently delivering Structural Integrity activities, including:

Understanding project scope, RBI strategies, and inspection requirements.

Developing SOIRs / Inspection Check Sheets for structural assets.
-
Reviewing inspection findings and supporting alarm acknowledgement activities.
-
Screening and assessing structural anomalies.
-
Conducting fit-for-service evaluations and providing engineering recommendations.
-
Preparing anomaly reports and supporting documentation.
-
Developing repair order packages for structural repairs where required.
-
Coordinating with Integrity Engineers, Inspectors, and Asset Owners.

Maintaining integrity records and providing monthly progress updates.
-
Participating in technical reviews and integrity management meetings.
-
Supporting Bentley APM, IDMS, SAP, and GE APM data management activities

Work Experience
Relevant Experience Required:
-
5-7 years of relevant Civil and Structural Engineering experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Marine, Offshore or Infrastructure assets.

Experience in Structural Integrity Management, Inspection Planning, Anomaly Assessment, and Repair Recommendation activities.
-
Exposure to offshore structures such as platforms, trestles, dolphins, walkways, jetties, risers, support structures, and associated facilities.

Experience working with Risk Based Inspection (RBI) programs and integrity management systems
Mandatory Skills:
Structural Integrity & Inspection
-
Development of Structural Inspection Plans (SOIRs) / Inspection Check Sheets.
-
Review and interpretation of RBI plans and inspection strategies.
-
Understanding of structural degradation mechanisms including corrosion, fatigue, coating degradation, impact damage, and marine deterioration.
-
Ability to define inspection scope, inspection methods, degradation threats, inspection locations, and acceptance criteria.

Review and screening of inspection findings and inspection reports.
Anomaly Assessment & Integrity Management
-
Experience in anomaly identification, screening, and risk ranking.
-
Ability to perform anomaly assessments and determine corrective actions.
-
Knowledge of Fit-for-Service (FFS) assessment principles.
-
Experience preparing anomaly reports and supporting risk assessments.
-
Familiarity with structural integrity workflows and asset risk management processes.
Structural Engineering
-
Strong understanding of offshore and onshore structural systems.
-
Ability to interpret General Arrangement (GA) drawings, structural drawings, fabrication drawings, and 3D models.
-
Understanding of structural inspection requirements and repair methodologies.

Ability to develop repair recommendations and support structural maintenance planning.
Tools & System Knowledge
-
Bentley APM / IDMS.
-
GE APM Inspection Management.
-
SAP PM and Functional Location hierarchy.
-
Microsoft Excel and engineering database management tools.
-
Ability to work with integrity management and anomaly tracking systems
