Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. The Continuous Improvement & Industry 4.0 Leader is responsible for driving operational excellence across the site through the deployment of Lean, Six Sigma, and digital transformation initiatives. The role partners with Site Leadership to define and execute the Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy, improve plant performance, deliver cost-out, and build a strong culture of structured problem solving and data-driven decision making.
This position also leads Industry 4.0 initiatives to enable digital manufacturing, smart data usage, and automation for enhanced productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Lead deployment of Industry 4.0 initiatives to enable smart manufacturing and digital transformation.
- Drive machine connectivity (IIoT), data acquisition, and real-time performance monitoring systems.
- Develop data analytics capabilities to enable predictive insights and decision making.
- Implement automation solutions such as robotics, cobots, and digital workflows.
- Integrate IT and OT systems (ERP, manufacturing systems, and shopfloor data) for end-to-end visibility.
- Support development of digital tools such as dashboards.
- Collaborate with CFT and Site Leaders to develop and deploy site-level Lean, Six Sigma, and CI strategy aligned to business goals.
- Lead Continuous Improvement Council and drive cross-functional engagement.
- Define and implement CI roadmap including annual CI calendar aligned to EBS/strategic initiatives.
- Drive Lean Six Sigma deployment across plant functions to deliver short-term and long-term business improvements.
- Lead Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs), Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and breakthrough projects.
- Execute plant cost-out initiatives by eliminating waste and improving efficiencies.
- Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis and performance metrics.
- Develop problem-solving culture through Lean / Six Sigma tools (A3, DMAIC, PDCA, etc.).
- Facilitate CI & I4.0 training programs across all plant levels.
- Coordinate with corporate teams and participate in global CI initiatives and best practice sharing.
