About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Web Developer with 1–2 years of experience in WordPress and PHP development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining websites, along with a strong understanding of web technologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Create and modify WordPress themes and plugins as per business requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code.
- Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and web services.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and compatible across browsers.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other team members to implement website enhancements.
- Perform regular website updates, backups, and security maintenance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in Web Development.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress development (theme customization, plugin integration, and website management).
- Good understanding of PHP and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience working with MySQL databases.
- Knowledge of WordPress page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or similar.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with WooCommerce development and customization.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with hosting environments, cPanel, and website deployment processes.
- Knowledge of website security best practices.
