About the job
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic fresher to join our software development team as an Assistant Software Engineer. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in web technologies, a willingness to learn modern development frameworks, and an interest in building scalable web applications.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React JS and modern JavaScript.
· Assist in both frontend and backend development activities.
· Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
· Participate in application testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
· Collaborate with senior developers, UI/UX designers, and project teams.
· Work with REST APIs and integrate third-party services.
· Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
· Stay updated with emerging web technologies and development trends.
Required Skills
· Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and React JS.
· Basic understanding of frontend and backend development concepts.
· Familiarity with Node.js, Express.js, or similar backend frameworks is an advantage.
· Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
· Understanding of RESTful APIs.
· Familiarity with Git/version control.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
· Internship or academic project experience in web development.
· Knowledge of TypeScript, Next.js, or cloud platforms is an added advantage.
· Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
· Certification in MERN stack.
· Exposure to AI assisted coding
Education and Experience:
- B.Tech/B.E. (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related discipline)
- Experience - Fresher
