Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and recovered products from lithium-ion battery recycling processes
- Perform wet chemistry techniques such as titration, filtration, precipitation, and solvent extraction
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (e.g., ICP-OES, AAS, pH meters, spectrophotometers)
- Monitor process parameters and support optimization of hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical processes
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, hazardous material handling, and waste disposal standards
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, test results, and quality control data
- Assist in developing and validating new recovery methods and improving yield efficiency
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot process issues
- Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in industrial laboratory work (experience in battery recycling, metallurgy, or chemical processing preferred)
- Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry and laboratory techniques
- Familiarity with lithium-ion battery materials and recycling processes is a plus
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation (ICP, AAS, XRF, etc.) preferred
- Understanding of safety standards related to chemical handling and hazardous waste
- Good documentation, reporting, and data analysis skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
