We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer In-Charge to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CNC turning programming, machining process optimization, and team leadership. This role requires hands-on experience with Fanuc Control, SolidCAM, and Autodesk, along with the ability to support production, improve machining efficiency, and maintain quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for turning and machining operations.
- Program CNC Turning Centres using Fanuc Control (preferred).
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and optimize machining processes.
- Support fixture development and production planning.
- Conduct first-off inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Monitor and improve machining cycle times and productivity.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and planning teams.
- Train and guide CNC operators and junior programmers.
- Maintain documentation related to CNC programs and process improvements.
- Follow company quality and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred).
- 4–8 years of experience as a CNC Programmer.
- Strong knowledge of CNC Turning Centre programming.
- Experience with Fanuc Control is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SolidCAM and Autodesk.
- Good understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
- Experience in tooling, fixture development, and process optimization.
- Leadership and team coordination skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
