Job Description: Project Engineer
About Ralsonics
Ralsonics is a leading manufacturer of advanced ultrasonic cleaning and industrial surface treatment systems. We pride ourselves on engineering excellence and delivering seamless, reliable solutions to our industrial clients. Because our systems are highly technical, our order execution must be managed with absolute engineering competence and ruthless efficiency.
The Role
We are seeking a driven, technically sharp Project Engineer to join our Sales department and take complete ownership of post-sale project execution. Once our front-line sales team closes a deal, you take the baton. Your core duty is to act as the technical bridge between our clients (who are engineers themselves) and our internal manufacturing/design teams. You will dive deep into technical bottlenecks, verify the validity of internal delays, actively remove blockers on the shop floor, and ensure the client receives authoritative, transparent weekly updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Post-Sale Client Leadership: Act as the dedicated, technical face of the Sales team for clients with active orders. Translate complex shop-floor realities into structured, proactive updates so the customer never has to chase us for their machine's status.
- Technical Verification & Unblocking: Monitor the progress of each machine through Design, Purchase, and Manufacturing. When internal teams flag delays, you will not simply pass the message to the client. You will dive into the technical root cause, verify the constraints, and force cross-functional collaboration to unblock the project.
- The Commercial-Technical Bridge: Ensure that the final machine being built aligns perfectly with the technical specifications and commercial promises made to the client during the sales process.
- Delay Anticipation & Escalation: Identify potential bottlenecks before they impact the deadline. Escalate verified risks to Management and the Sales Head with a clear analysis of the problem and a proposed engineering solution.
- Dispatch & Commissioning: Coordinate the final handover, managing logistics, dispatch details, and scheduling our commissioning engineers with the client's site team to close the project flawlessly.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in project engineering, technical sales support, or manufacturing coordination in a B2B industrial environment.
- High Technical Literacy: You must be able to read engineering drawings, understand fabrication basics, and confidently call out inconsistencies in production timelines.
- Exceptional Communication & Grit: The ability to politely but firmly hold internal department heads accountable, while projecting calm authority and commercial empathy to our clients.
- A proactive, "systems-thinking" problem solver who protects the client's timeline as if it were their own.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: ₹4,00,000 to ₹6,00,000 CTC per annum (Base Salary + Performance Incentives, commensurate with engineering capability).
- Incentives: Performance bonuses directly tied to on-time delivery rates, proactive communication consistency, and successful project handovers.
- Location: Vasai, Maharashtra.
- Schedule: Full-Time.
Pay: ₹33,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Benefits:
- Leave encashment
- Provident Fund
Experience:
- Project engineering: 2 years (Required)
Work Location: In person
