SHEOWS is a leading NGO dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and care of destitute and abandoned elderly individuals. We provide medical support, shelter, dignity, and an improved quality of life to elders in need. The Programme Coordinator Intern will play a hands-on role in supporting project operations, field coordination, documentation, and monitoring across centres.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination & Implementation
- Support day-to-day project activities across assigned centres.
- Assist in implementing project plans as per programme guidelines.
- Help monitor progress and flag operational gaps or challenges.
- Work alongside field and operational teams to ensure smooth execution of project interventions.
2. Reporting & Documentation
- Assist in preparing project reports, monthly updates, and activity documentation.
- Maintain project records, data sheets, attendance logs, and activity trackers.
- Support drafting of case studies, success stories, field visit reports, and donor documentation.
3. Monitoring & Evaluation
- Track project indicators and help ensure data accuracy.
- Support assessments, surveys, and monitoring visits.
- Contribute observations and feedback to improve programme quality.
4. Stakeholder & Team Coordination
- Coordinate with field staff, supervisors, medical teams, and senior coordinators.
- Assist in liaising with donors, government officials, and partner organisations.
- Support trainings, awareness programmes, and community outreach initiatives.
5. Administrative & Operational Support
- Assist with documentation, procurement support, and compliance processes.
- Help ensure adherence to donor guidelines and reporting standards.
- Provide inputs for proposal drafting and audit preparations.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Good written communication and documentation skills.
- Basic understanding of project coordination or community-based work.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Canva.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks within scheduled hours.
- Empathy and a genuine commitment to serving vulnerable communities.
Eligibility
- Students or recent graduates from B.Sc, B.Com, MBA, MPH, MSW, or related disciplines.
- College pass-outs and final-year students are welcome to apply.
- Prior exposure to NGOs, healthcare, elderly care, or community programmes is a plus but not mandatory.
