About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven, detail-oriented Manager to join the JBS Account Management Team within JLL's FinOps supporting Real Estate Management Services (REMS) business. This is a high-impact role for a finance professional who can operate equally well as a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor.
As a key member of our Finance Forward initiative, you will bring deep FP&A expertise to support financial planning, variance analysis, cost identification, and management reporting across multiple Statements of Work (SOWs) flowing through client finance system(s). You will partner closely with Account Finance Leads, Facility Managers, and senior stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial intelligence that drives better decisions.
This role demands someone comfortable guiding a team while also rolling up their sleeves – a doer who leads by example and is unafraid to dig into the details when the work requires it.
What This Job Involves
FP&A & Financial Analysis
Own the full cycle of budget, forecast, and actuals analysis – identifying variances, trends, and risks across the portfolio with clear, actionable commentary.
Review and reconcile costs across multiple SOWs flowing through E1, identifying and flagging instances where spend is miscoded or reported against the incorrect SOW.
Identify capital expenditure (CapEx) embedded within facilities/operating spend, ensuring proper classification and reporting in line with contract terms and accounting standards.
Prepare and consolidate variance commentary, synthesizing inputs from multiple account teams into cohesive narratives for senior management review.
Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and reporting in support of strategic initiatives, client requests, and business cases as required.
Month-End & Reporting
Lead monthly and year-end close activities, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all reported results and client billing reconciliations.
Manage the monthly reporting compliance package, including variance analysis, supporting schedules, and forward-looking commentary covering risks and opportunities relative to contractual budget.
Oversee GL review, journals, and accruals monitoring to maintain accurate books across the account.
Ensure compliance with client contract terms, MSAs, and relevant amendments throughout all reporting processes.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Lead annual budget plan preparation and rolling forecast submissions across assigned SOWs, working in close partnership with department heads, operations, and finance leadership.
Monitor accuracy of income statement, receivables, and quarterly revenue attestation at both the JLL Corporate and Client account levels.
Translate business activities and operational changes into financial projections with precision and appropriate risk-flagging.
Controls, Compliance & Governance
Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard financial assets; actively participate in S&P programs, account reviews, and internal audit findings.
Design, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that optimize efficiency and internal controls across the portfolio.
Provide oversight of revenue recognition processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
Support audit programs by evaluating the effectiveness of controls and compliance with established policies and MSAs.
AR/AP Oversight & Cash Management
Manage accounts receivable objectives and metrics, overseeing research on AR aged beyond 30 days.
Oversee cash management procedures to ensure AR/AP objectives and contractual vendor payment requirements are met for fixed contracts and above-scope project work.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Change Leadership
Serve as a finance partner and change agent – driving process improvements, governance structures, and escalation resolution across AR, AP, and QA workstreams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Heads, Facility Managers, Sourcing & Procurement, and corporate finance to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes.
Support and inspire continuous improvement as part of the Accelerate 2030 strategy, connecting workstream delivery to broader finance strategy.
Sounds Like You? To Apply You Need:
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA or CA preferred.
8–10 years of experience in FP&A or finance business partnering roles within large, complex, global organizations.
Proven track record in budget/forecast/actuals analysis, variance commentary, and management reporting.
Hands-on experience identifying CapEx within facilities or operational spend; familiarity with SOW-level cost management and ERP cost coding practices.
Experience with JD Edwards (E1) or similar ERP systems; US GAAP knowledge a plus.
Prior exposure to real estate, facilities management, or outsourced service environments is an advantage.
