About the Role
We are looking for a highly curious and analytical Research & Analysis driven Intern to support product innovation, market research, consumer insights, and competitive analysis initiatives across our Hygiene, Beauty, and Personal Care portfolio.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to product development, market intelligence, consumer behavior analysis, and innovation strategy within a fast-growing FMCG environment.
The ideal candidate should possess strong research skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a keen interest in beauty, personal care, hygiene, and consumer products.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Consumer Research
- Conduct market research on emerging trends in Hygiene, Beauty, Personal Care, and Wellness categories
- Analyze consumer behavior, buying patterns, and evolving customer preferences
- Monitor industry developments, innovations, and competitor activities
- Gather and interpret data from industry reports, surveys, and market studies
Product Research & Development Support
- Assist in identifying new product opportunities and innovation concepts
- Research ingredients, formulations, packaging trends, and product claims
- Support benchmarking of existing products against market competitors
- Contribute to product ideation and concept evaluation exercises
Competitive Intelligence
- Track competitor launches, pricing strategies, product positioning, and marketing initiatives
- Prepare detailed competitor analysis reports and presentations
- Identify market gaps and opportunities for product differentiation
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze research findings and convert data into actionable insights
- Prepare market intelligence reports, presentations, and recommendation documents
- Support decision-making through research-backed business insights
- Assist in maintaining research databases and knowledge repositories
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Development, Marketing, Sales, and Strategy teams
- Support ongoing innovation and business growth projects
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and research discussions
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy or FMCG-related disciplines.
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent data interpretation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and online research tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
