Pay Range: ₹25,000 – ₹28,000 per month (depending on experience)
Vodafone Idea data centres are seeking experienced electrical technicians to support critical infrastructures operations and maintenance activities. The candidate should possess sound knowledge of electrical systems, Data centre equipment and be willing to work in rotational shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and breakdown activities
Monitor and maintain power systems and electrical infrastructure.
Carry out daily checks and record operational parameters.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards.
Coordinate with OEM vendors and site teams.
Maintain logs and report of maintenance activities.
Ensure uninterrupted operation and critical facilities.
Technical knowledge required
Diesel generators ( DG) systems
UPS systems
Transformers
SMPS systems
HT panels
LT panels
Electrical distribution systems
Battery banks
AMF panels
Switch gears
Power monitoring systems
Preventive maintenance activities
Breakdown maintenance
Safety procedures and electrical standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance, data centers, manufacturing, or commercial electrical operations.
- Certifications: Valid Electrical License (Wireman / Supervisor Permit) preferred.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts and handle emergency call-outs.
