Job Description: Senior Hydraulic Technician (Marine / Deck Machinery)Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hydraulic Technician to join our marine engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul of complex hydraulic deck machinery and equipment across our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repair: Execute routine planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on a wide range of marine hydraulic systems, including anchor windlasses, mooring winches, cargo cranes, steering gear, hatch covers, and hydraulic power units (HPUs).
- System Diagnostics: Diagnose complex hydraulic faults, analyze system pressure/flow anomalies, and read/interpret intricate hydraulic schematics and technical blueprints.
- Overhauls & Component Rebuilding: Disassemble, inspect, rebuild, and test critical hydraulic components such as high-pressure pumps, motors, directional control valves, cylinders, and accumulators.
- Fluid Management: Conduct hydraulic oil sampling, analysis, and filtration. Ensure system cleanliness levels meet strict marine industry standards to prevent contamination.
- Testing & Commissioning: Supervise and execute post-repair testing and sea-trials of deck machinery to ensure full operational compliance and safety.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to maritime safety regulations (e.g., SOLAS, class society rules like ABS/DNV) and maintain precise maintenance logs and technical reports.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience specifically dedicated to marine hydraulic deck machinery and shipboard equipment.
- Education: Technical diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent vocational training in Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Marine Engineering.
- Technical Skills: * Expert-level understanding of high-pressure marine hydraulic systems and closed-loop/open-loop circuits.
- Proficiency in reading and troubleshooting from complex hydraulic circuit diagrams.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including precision measurement and rigging.
- Certifications (Preferred): * Certified Fluid Power Hydraulic Technician (CFPHT) or equivalent industry certification.
- Valid maritime certifications (e.g., STCW, BOSIET, or Seaman’s Book) are highly advantageous depending on vessel/offshore deployment.
- Availability: Willingness to work on vessels, travel to various port locations, and respond to urgent call-outs or dry-dock projects as required.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
