Job Title: Finishing Engineer
Job Summary:
The Finishing Engineer is responsible for supervising and ensuring high-quality finishing and interior works at construction sites. This includes overseeing activities such as plastering, flooring, painting, tiling, false ceiling, modular interiors, and final finishing touches to ensure projects meet design specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all finishing and interior activities including plaster, paint, tiles, marble, granite, false ceiling, gypsum work, modular furniture, partitions, and decorative finishes.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, consultants, and site teams for smooth execution.
- Monitor daily progress and ensure timely completion of finishing and interior works.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to finishing and interior work.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports.
- Ensure proper usage of materials and minimize wastage.
- Check and approve finishing work before final handover.
- Coordinate with architects and consultants for design-related clarifications.
- Ensure high-quality execution of interior elements such as modular kitchens, wardrobes, wall paneling, ceiling designs, and decorative finishes.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of finishing and interior materials and techniques.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, interior drawings, and BOQ.
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and teams.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and coordination ability.
- Attention to detail and quality control.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in finishing and interior works in residential, commercial, institutional, or high-rise construction projects.
- Experience in handling interior fit-out works, false ceiling, gypsum partitions, modular furniture installation, and decorative finishes will be preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
