This role is ideal for candidates who are looking to kick-start their careers by combining training, technical BIM work, and continuous learning in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) industry.
As a Junior BIM Faculty, you will contribute to training programs, assist students in mastering BIM tools and concepts, and support industry projects involving BIM implementation and content development.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Academic Support
- Assist in the design and delivery of BIM courses relevant to your discipline (Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical).
- Contribute to the preparation of learning materials such as:
o Video tutorials
o Exercises and assignments
o Course notes and project-based modules
- Support students through online classes, doubt sessions, and interactive discussions.
- Provide academic assistance, guide students on software tools, and help them understand practical applications.
- Collaborate with senior faculty to continuously improve course content and teaching strategies.
- Stay updated with new tools and trends in BIM and e-learning to enhance student experience.
Industry Projects & BIM Services (with mentoring)
- Participate in real-world BIM projects under supervision, contributing to:
o Model creation and coordination
o Custom Revit families and templates
o BIM audits and implementation support
- Learn and apply software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Civil 3D, MEP tools, and others depending on your discipline.
- Assist in developing client deliverables and content based on BIM standards and project needs.
Who Should Apply?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (recent graduates encouraged).
Preferred Skills & Interests:
- Interest in BIM workflows and design technologies.
- Basic exposure to BIM tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Civil 3D, or MEP plugins (training will be provided).
- Good communication skills and willingness to teach or present.
- Ability to work in a team and follow structured learning and project plans.
- Curious and self-motivated to learn new software and tools.
Bonus (Not Mandatory):
- Internship or academic project experience in BIM modeling or design coordination.
- Exposure to e-learning platforms (Moodle, Google Classroom, etc.).
- Knowledge of discipline-specific BIM standards (LOD, COBie, etc.) is a plus.
