Job Summary
Krishna Nursing College is seeking a responsible, disciplined, and committed Hostel Warden to oversee the day-to-day operations of the student hostel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and well-disciplined residential environment while ensuring the welfare, well-being, and overall development of students residing in the hostel.
This is a residential position, and accommodation will be provided within the hostel premises.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Welfare & Discipline
- Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to hostel rules and regulations.
- Supervise students residing in the hostel and promote a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment.
- Address student concerns and behavioural issues in a fair and professional manner.
- Counsel students when appropriate and report serious disciplinary matters to the Principal or Management.
- Ensure students comply with hostel timings, attendance requirements, and institutional policies.
Hostel Administration
- Maintain hostel occupancy records, attendance registers, leave records, and visitor logs.
- Monitor daily hostel operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Coordinate room allocation and maintain accurate hostel documentation.
- Prepare reports on hostel activities and incidents for management.
Safety & Security
- Conduct routine rounds of the hostel to ensure student safety and compliance with hostel regulations.
- Monitor visitor access and maintain security records.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate appropriate medical assistance when required.
- Ensure emergency procedures and safety protocols are followed.
Housekeeping & Maintenance
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and overall maintenance of the hostel premises.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address repairs and upkeep.
- Report infrastructure or maintenance issues promptly.
Coordination
- Work closely with the Principal, faculty members, nursing college administration, and hospital management regarding student welfare and hostel administration.
- Participate in meetings and support institutional activities whenever required.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience in hostel administration, educational institutions, healthcare, residential care, or student welfare will be an advantage.
- Basic first aid knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Fresh candidates with strong leadership and organisational skills may also apply.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
