Job Title: Marketplace Manager
Job Summary
The Marketplace Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s presence across online marketplaces. This role focuses on driving sales growth, improving product visibility, managing marketplace operations, and ensuring brand consistency across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketplace Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute marketplace growth strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
- Identify new marketplace opportunities and expansion channels.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
2. Account Management
- Manage seller/vendor accounts on platforms such as:
- Amazon
- Flipkart
- eBay
- Walmart
- Shopify
- Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and standards.
- Handle escalations, account health issues, and performance metrics.
3. Product Listings & Content Optimization
- Create and optimize product listings (titles, descriptions, images, keywords).
- Conduct keyword research and SEO optimization for marketplace algorithms.
- Improve product ranking and visibility.
4. Pricing & Promotions
- Implement competitive pricing strategies.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns and deals.
- Monitor Buy Box performance (where applicable).
5. Advertising & Performance Marketing
- Manage marketplace advertising campaigns (PPC, sponsored ads).
- Optimize ad spend for ROI and conversion rate.
- Track and analyze campaign performance metrics.
6. Inventory & Operations
- Coordinate inventory planning to prevent stockouts or overstock.
- Work with supply chain/logistics teams for fulfillment models (FBA/FBM or equivalent).
- Forecast demand based on sales trends.
7. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Track KPIs: revenue, conversion rate, ACOS/ROAS, CTR, traffic, etc.
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports.
- Provide actionable insights for growth.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams.
- Coordinate with creative teams for images, A+ content, and branding assets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in marketplace management or e-commerce within the Nutraceutical, Wellness, Healthcare, or FMCG industry.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller/Vendor Central or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or data tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with marketplace automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
