Zaroda is a design-led furniture sourcing and custom manufacturing company working with interior designers, architects, homeowners, and project clients. We help clients source distinctive furniture, custom pieces, and complete project requirements through our showroom in Hyderabad and our supplier network across India and China.
We are looking for a confident, well-connected, and highly organised Designer Partnerships Manager to build long-term relationships with Hyderabad’s leading interior designers, architects, turnkey firms, and design studios.
Role Overview
This is not a desk-sales role.
You will be the face of Zaroda in Hyderabad’s design community. Your role is to meet designers and architects, understand their upcoming projects, introduce Zaroda’s sourcing and furniture capabilities, bring them to the showroom, and convert relationships into recurring project business.
The ideal candidate should be polished, proactive, commercially sharp, and comfortable representing a premium furniture brand in front of senior designers, architects, and high-value clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with interior designers, architects, turnkey firms, builders, and design studios across Hyderabad.
- Identify high-potential studios, principals, and project teams that fit Zaroda’s target market.
- Plan and conduct regular office visits, presentations, showroom meetings, and follow-ups.
- Present Zaroda’s furniture sourcing, custom manufacturing, China sourcing, catalog, material, and project-support capabilities.
- Understand each designer’s style, project type, budget range, decision-making process, and upcoming furniture requirements.
- Generate qualified enquiries, BOQs, moodboards, furniture requirements, and project briefs.
- Invite designers and their clients to the Zaroda showroom for product discussions, selections, and presentations.
- Coordinate internally for quotations, sourcing options, product references, timelines, drawings, samples, and project updates.
- Maintain every designer, project, requirement, discussion, and follow-up inside Zaroda’s Notion/CRM system.
- Build long-term account ownership by ensuring designers receive timely, professional support after the first meeting.
- Attend client meetings, project discussions, designer events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities when required.
- Share clear daily and weekly reports covering visits, meetings, leads, project potential, follow-ups, and closed business.
- Protect Zaroda’s pricing, margins, positioning, and reputation in every client conversation.
Candidate Profile
- 3–6 years of experience in business development, architect relations, interior sales, furniture, luxury retail, lighting, modular kitchens, surfaces, building materials, or related industries.
- Existing relationships with architects, interior designers, design studios, builders, or premium residential clients in Hyderabad are strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi. Telugu is preferred.
- Confident, presentable, well-spoken, and capable of handling senior decision-makers.
- Strong follow-up discipline and ability to build trust over a long sales cycle.
- Commercially aware and able to understand sales value, margins, discounts, and project timelines.
- Comfortable with field work, meetings across Hyderabad, and regular studio visits.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Workspace, Notion, Excel, or CRM tools.
- Must have a two-wheeler or reliable personal transport for local meetings.
Performance Expectations
The role will be measured on relationship quality and commercial output, including:
- Number of high-quality designer and architect relationships developed.
- Studio visits and decision-maker meetings completed.
- Qualified showroom meetings conducted.
- BOQs, sourcing enquiries, and active project requirements generated.
- Pipeline value and conversion into confirmed projects.
- Repeat business from designers and studios introduced to Zaroda.
- CRM discipline, timely follow-ups, and accurate reporting.
- Sales collections and margin quality from assigned accounts.
Compensation
- Fixed Salary: ₹70,000 per month
- Travel and Phone Allowance: As per company policy / actual business requirement
- Performance Incentive: 1%–2% on net collected sales from accounts and projects originated or assigned to the candidate
- Attractive earning potential for candidates who build a strong designer network and consistently convert projects
Incentive Terms
Incentives will be calculated only on:
- Client payments actually received by Zaroda.
- Sales value excluding GST, logistics, customs duty, delivery, installation, and pass-through charges.
- Projects that maintain Zaroda’s approved commercial margin.
- Leads and accounts recorded in Zaroda’s CRM/Notion system.
- Projects where pricing, timelines, and discounts have been approved by management.
No incentive will apply to unpaid, cancelled, refunded, or unapproved-discount orders.
Growth Opportunity
This role has the potential to grow into a senior leadership position managing architect partnerships, showroom sales, and a larger Hyderabad business-development team as Zaroda expands.
