Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman to prepare accurate electrical drawings and documentation for interior fit-out and turnkey projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing electrical layouts, shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and shop drawings for commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and corporate interior projects.
- Develop electrical power, lighting, UPS, emergency lighting, and low-voltage system drawings.
- Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), load schedules, panel schedules, and cable routing drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP consultants, project managers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review design drawings and identify discrepancies before execution.
- Prepare coordinated drawings by integrating electrical services with HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other MEP services.
- Modify and update drawings based on client comments, consultant approvals, and site requirements.
- Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions and existing conditions.
- Prepare as-built drawings and project handover documentation.
- Maintain drawing revisions and document control as per project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in interior fit-out, construction, or turnkey projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Knowledge of electrical design standards, MEP coordination, and shop drawing preparation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and architectural drawings.
- Strong understanding of lighting layouts, power layouts, cable tray routing, and panel schedules.
- Familiarity with BIM/Revit will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Experience
