· Operate vertical hydraulic extrusion press safely and efficiently.
Set and change extrusion dies, tooling, punches, containers, and other required tools.
· Perform proper die/tool alignment, centering, and setting as per component requirements.
· Read and understand engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
· Set machine parameters such as pressure, stroke, speed, temperature, and cycle time as required.
· Conduct first-piece inspection after tool setting and ensure dimensions are within specified tolerances.
· Monitor the extrusion process and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent production quality.
· Identify and rectify common extrusion defects such as dimensional variation, surface defects, cracks, bending, improper filling, and tool-related issues.
· Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance of the press and tooling.
· Check condition of dies and tools and report damage, wear, or abnormal conditions to the supervisor/tool room.
· Maintain proper production records, inspection reports, tool-setting records, and rejection/rework details.
· Achieve daily production targets while minimizing rejection, downtime, and material wastage.
· Follow 5S, PPE, safety procedures, SOPs, and company quality standards.
· Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Production teams for smooth operations.
· Ensure proper handling and storage of dies, tools, and finished components.
· Support new product trials and tool trials as required.
· Report machine abnormalities, hydraulic leakage, abnormal pressure, noise, vibration, or other safety issues immediately.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
