Plan and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of utility equipment.
Ensure optimal operation and uptime of:
- LT/HT electrical systems (panels, transformers, switchgears)
- Compressed air systems
- HVAC and ventilation systems
- Boilers and thermic fluid heaters
- Cooling towers, chillers, RO/DM plants
- Diesel generators (DG sets), backup systems
- ETP/STP (Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants)
- Fire alarm and firefighting systems
Maintain detailed maintenance records, breakdown logs, compliance checklists, and service histories.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for repeated failures and implement corrective actions.
Lead initiatives for energy conservation and utility cost control.
Supervise and guide utility maintenance technicians, ensuring strict adherence to safety norms and SOPs.
Ensure 100% compliance with statutory and environmental norms related to utility operations.
Coordinate with OEMs and external vendors for servicing, AMC, and spare procurement.
Generate reports such as MTTR, MTBF, uptime/downtime, and utility performance.
Promote continuous improvement through Kaizen, TPM, 5S, and digitalization practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education and Certifications:
· Bachelor of engineering in Electrical or Mechanical, or a related field.
Experience:
6–10 years of proven experience in industrial utility maintenance
Experience in managing utility systems in large manufacturing plants or process industries
Technical / Functional Expertise & other competencies:
Deep understanding of industrial utility systems, maintenance practices, and statutory compliance
Proficient in energy audits, predictive maintenance tools (vibration, thermal, ultrasonic)
Knowledge of ISO 50001, 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and vendor management skills
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
