We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our academic team as an Assistant Professor in Computer Applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science fundamentals, a passion for teaching, and a track record of scholarly research or industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions in subjects related to computer applications such as programming, data structures, algorithms, database management, software engineering, web technologies, AI/ML, cybersecurity, etc.
- Develop and update course content, syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
- Guide and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic projects, research, and internships.
- Engage in scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed journals or conferences.
- Participate in curriculum development and departmental activities.
- Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues on academic and administrative tasks.
- Maintain active industry linkages and promote student-industry interaction.
Qualifications:
- Educational Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Computer Applications , Computer Science
- NET/SET/SLET qualification is preferred as per UGC norms.
- Experience:
- 0–3 years of teaching/research/industry experience (fresh Ph.D. holders may also apply).
- Experience with modern teaching tools and technologies is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
- Ability to inspire and mentor students.
- Commitment to academic excellence and continuous learning.
