Responsibilities
- Candidate with sound knowledge of logistics is a mandatory requirement.
- Ensure that sufficient stocks are available in stores at all times at minimum costs
- Keep minimum two suppliers active for all supplies and have 3 standby suppliers
- Keep finding new suppliers for our needs
- Ensure all documentation needs are met in terms of quality and ISO
- Ensure that all incoming products meet out quality needs by working with Quality Dept
- Handle and Liaison work given by management
- Identify and source new suppliers and vendors. Measure & manage their selection, data maintenance, compliance, contracts & processes based on cost, quality, support, capacity, payment, delivery terms and reliability
- Demonstrated ability to work with stores, production and quality depts.
Skills and Requirements
- Minimum 35 years of age and 7-8 years of experience in similar job at a mid level manufacturing company
- Basic understanding of costing
- Understanding of quality in terms of ISO and product specs
- Knowledge of computers including making PO, Purchase Agreements, Rejection Advice
- Knowledge of basic accounts and reasonable knowledge of computer applications like word and excel.
