About the Role
We are looking for experienced IP DRG Coders with strong expertise in inpatient medical coding and DRG assignment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in reviewing inpatient medical records, assigning accurate diagnosis and procedure codes, and ensuring compliance with coding standards and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and code inpatient medical records accurately.
- Assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes based on clinical documentation.
- Perform MS-DRG and APR-DRG assignments.
- Identify Principal Diagnosis (PDX), Secondary Diagnoses, CC/MCC, and appropriate procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Coding Clinic guidelines and coding standards.
- Maintain coding quality, productivity, and turnaround time targets.
- Review Newborn Charts and complex inpatient cases.
- Collaborate with quality teams to ensure coding accuracy and compliance.

Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: 3–5 years in IP DRG Coding.
- Education: Any Life Science, Allied Health Science, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related healthcare degree.
- Mandatory Certification (Any One):
- CPC
- COC
- CIC
- CCS (AAPC/AHIMA)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary up to ₹10 LPA.
