We are seeking an experienced Engineer specializing in Non-Destructive Testing, specifically Radiography Testing (RT). The Engineer will be responsible for conducting NDT inspections, interpreting test results, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, specifically NAS410. The ideal candidate should have Level 2 certification in RT, with a strong background in quality control and inspection procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
· Be qualified to direct and carry out test in the method/s for which he is certified.
· Be able to set up and calibrate equipment.
· Be able to read and interpret indications and evaluate them in accordance with applicable standards, specifications and codes of practice.
· Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the NDT method.
· Have the ability to apply detailed techniques to products within his limits of qualification.
· Be capable of organizing and reporting test results.
· Be familiar with the type and location of expected discontinuities for the manufacturing process used to make the parts.
· If required, shall be capable of preparing techniques and codes of practice, these to be approved by a Level III individual.
· Be able to prepare a written instruction suitable for use by a Level I individual.
· Be able to train and or guide Level I and trainee personnel
· Ensure that material and products identification and traceability is maintained at all relevant stages.
· Support in 5 S and Kaizen activity.
· To work with all safety risk and environmental aspects guidelines.
The Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this role shall be:
· A number of successful NDT inspections were conducted within specified timeframes.
· Accuracy and completeness of NDT reports and documentation.
· Compliance with NAS410 and other relevant standards.
· Effectiveness of NDT techniques and procedures in detecting defects and ensuring component quality.
· Adherence to safety protocols and procedures during NDT operations.
· Efficient utilization and maintenance of NDT equipment.
· Customer satisfaction with NDT services and results.
Ideal Qualifications:
· Level 2 certification in NDT/ASNT as per NAS410.
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
· Strong knowledge of NDT principles and techniques, with specific expertise in RT.
· Proven experience in conducting NDT inspections and interpreting test results.
· Familiarity with industry standards and specifications, such as NAS410, ASTM, ASME, AS9100 and NADCAP
· Proficient in using NDT equipment and software applications.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Prior experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.
· Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
