1. Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced L3 Network Engineer with strong expertise in hardware & networking for ICD Tumb location. The candidate must have hands‑on experience managing enterprise networks, resolving escalated issues, and maintaining uptime for critical systems.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Operations & Support
- Manage, configure & troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices.
- Handle escalations from L1/L2 engineers and provide L3‑level support.
- Maintain LAN/WAN performance, routing, VLANs, VPNs, STP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc.
- Ensure network uptime for 300+ users at ICD Tumb.
System Administration
- Hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, IP phones).
- Ensure smooth functioning of servers, backup systems & network monitoring tools.
Security & Monitoring
- Manage firewall rules, network access control, and security protocols.
- Implement security best practices and monitor for vulnerabilities.
Project Support
- Support new IT infrastructure setups at ICD Tumb.
- Coordinate with OEMs, service providers, and internal teams.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain detailed documentation of network assets, topology, and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with company IT security standards and audit requirements.
3. Required Skills & Qualifications
- CCNA & CCNP certified (Mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of Cisco switches, routers, firewalls.
- Hands‑on experience with L2/L3 networking protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting ability for hardware, software & network issues.
- Experience supporting a minimum of 300 users in a corporate/ICD/logistics environment.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
4. Preferred Skills
- Experience in logistics, ICD, port operations, or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of wireless networks, NAC, VPN systems, and network monitoring tools.
5. Soft Skills
- Strong problem‑solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure and during operational emergencies
- Good communication & reporting skills
- Discipline and willingness to work in shifts (if required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,018.83 - ₹35,344.91 per month
