Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IoT Implementation Engineer to lead the successful execution of IoT implementation projects at client locations. The primary responsibility of this role is to act as the bridge between the client and the internal implementation team, ensuring seamless communication, timely execution, and successful project delivery.
The engineer will be stationed at the client's manufacturing facility, where they will coordinate with client stakeholders, understand business and technical requirements, identify implementation gaps, and work closely with the Simpel Techlabs team to ensure all deliverables are completed on time and meet the client's expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and Simpel Techlabs during project implementation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, including production, maintenance, IT, and management teams.
- Gather business and technical requirements from the client and communicate them effectively to the internal implementation team.
- Conduct regular meetings with client stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve implementation challenges.
- Project Implementation
- Coordinate the end-to-end implementation of IoT solutions at the client site.
- Ensure timely execution of project activities according to the agreed project plan.
- Monitor implementation progress and proactively identify risks or delays.

- Coordinate hardware installation, software deployment, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Stakeholder Management: Bridge the communication gap between client stakeholders and internal technical teams.
- Translate business requirements into actionable implementation tasks.
- Escalate critical issues when required and follow them through to resolution.
- Ensure all client expectations are documented, communicated, and fulfilled.
- Technical Coordination: Coordinate with IoT, ERP, SCADA, Software Development, Networking, and Support teams.
- Validate data collection from IoT devices and sensors.
- Support device configuration, connectivity testing, and troubleshooting.

Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain implementation trackers and project documentation.
- Prepare daily and weekly project status reports.
- Document issues, risks, action items, and resolutions.
- Maintain implementation checklists and client approvals.
- Ensure proper documentation of change requests and project updates
Training & Support
- Conduct user training sessions for client teams.
- Assist users during Go-Live and stabilization phases.
- Coordinate issue resolution with internal support teams.
- Ensure smooth project handover after successful implementation.
Required Skills
1.Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of IoT architecture and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of sensors, gateways, RFID, PLC, SCADA, and industrial communication protocols is preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing processes is an advantage.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

3. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Freshers with relevant internship experience or candidates with **1–3 years of experience** in IoT, Industrial Automation, ERP implementation, or manufacturing projects are encouraged to apply.
