Job Summary
The Commi - III – Continental is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of Continental cuisine while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety. The role supports the senior chefs in day-to-day kitchen operations and ensures timely food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of Continental dishes such as sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, pasta, steaks, grilled items, soups, salads, and sauces.
- Prepare ingredients, vegetables, meats, and other mise en place for daily operations.
- Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure timely preparation and service of food during operational hours.
- Maintain cleanliness of the Continental kitchen, workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Store food items properly using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor about shortages.
- Reduce food wastage and ensure efficient utilization of ingredients.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Chef de Partie or Executive Chef.
Qualification
- Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management, Catering, or Culinary Arts is preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in a Continental kitchen, hotel, restaurant, café, or multiplex food court.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of Continental cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Ability to prepare basic sauces, soups, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, and salads.
- Good knife handling and food preparation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
