What You'll Do
Design & Drawings
- Develop MEP design schemes electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, low-voltage for new and ongoing projects.
- Prepare load calculations, equipment sizing, and system selection aligned with project brief and statutory norms.
- Produce GFC drawings: single-line diagrams, layouts, schematics, riser diagrams, and service coordination drawings.
- Run clash detection and services coordination with architectural, structural, and interior drawings before issue to site.
Museums & Heritage
- Design gallery-appropriate lighting (conservation lux levels, beam control, track layouts) in coordination with curators and exhibition designers.
- Plan HVAC strategies for artefact preservation temperature, humidity, filtration within the constraints of heritage envelopes.
- Integrate AV, projection, immersive theatre, and interactive kiosk power and data requirements into the services plan.
- Design minimally invasive service routing for heritage interventions where chasing walls or dropping ceilings isn't an option.
Estimation & Tendering
- Prepare and review MEP BOQs, specifications, and rate analyses aligned with CPWD/UP PWD/UP Jal Nigam norms.
- Support tender preparation drawings, technical write-ups, equipment schedules, and make-lists.
- Vet contractor and vendor submittals, technical bids, and equipment approvals.
Site Execution & Commissioning
- Travel to project sites for installation supervision, quality checks, and resolution of execution issues.
- Witness testing and commissioning insulation resistance, earth pit values, hydraulic pressure tests, HVAC TAB, fire pump performance, DG load tests.
- Maintain a clean drawing register, mark up as-built changes, and close out O&M manuals and handover documentation.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and procurement on material approvals, mock-ups, and substitutions.
Pay: ₹550,000.00 per year
