Job Summary
The HR Executive will support the Human Resources department in managing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, payroll coordination, and compliance. This role is ideal for an HR professional who is passionate about people, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract talented baristas, chefs, service staff, and café managers across multiple locations.
- Handle end-to-end hiring: job postings, screening, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding.
- Manage employee relations, including grievance handling, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work environment aligned with our values of sustainability and wellness.
- Oversee payroll processing, attendance tracking (considering shifts, overtime, and holidays), and compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.).
- Design and conduct training programs for front-of-house and back-of-house staff, focusing on customer service, food safety, and brand standards.
- Maintain employee records, performance appraisals, and support career development initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to statutory compliances, health & safety norms, and POSH policies.
- Collaborate with café managers on staffing needs, scheduling, and team motivation.
- Contribute to HR policies that promote work-life balance in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-5 years of HR experience, with at least 1 years in the restaurant, café, hotel, or QSR industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and hospitality-specific HR practices (e.g., shift rostering, tip management).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse teams.
- Proactive, organized, and able to handle multi-location operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HR software is a plus.
- Passion for wellness, sustainability, and the food & beverage sector is highly desirable.
