The Director – Infrastructure & Cybersecurity is a global leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s technology infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity strategies within Anthesis Group and our customer platforms. This role ensures that technology systems are reliable, secure, scalable and aligned with business goals. Beyond the technical mandate, this position emphasizes people leadership, global collaboration and business partnership, ensuring that technology infrastructure and cybersecurity are enablers of growth, resilience and trust across the organization.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the global Infrastructure & Cybersecurity strategy in alignment with business objectives and digital transformation goals.
- Lead modernization initiatives across networks, cloud data centres and endpoint ecosystems to ensure scalability and cost efficiency.
- Partner with business, compliance and technology leaders to align security and infrastructure capabilities with enterprise risk appetite and operational resilience targets.
- Drive innovation in automation, observability and zero-trust architectures to future-proof the technology foundation.
- Demonstrated capability in advancing a SaaS product hosting infrastructure. Cybersecurity Oversight
- Oversee the global cybersecurity program, including threat management identity protection, vulnerability management, incident response and governance.
- Lead the implementation of frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 and GDPR to maintain compliance and resilience.
- Manage a global Security Operations Centre (SOC) and ensure proactive defence posture through continuous monitoring.
- Partner with business functions to embed security-by-design principles into applications, infrastructure and data environments. Infrastructure Excellence
- Oversee global IT infrastructure — cloud (Azure/AWS), networks, collaboration tool and workplace technologies.
- Ensure high availability, reliability and performance of core IT systems supporting global operations.
- Drive cloud transformation and hybrid workplace enablement through modernization, standardization and automation.
- Lead vendor and partner ecosystems to ensure service quality, commercial efficiency, and strategic alignment. People & Organizational Leadership
- Lead a diverse, global team of infrastructure and cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of trust, innovation, and accountability.
- Develop and mentor future leaders, ensuring talent pipelines and capability maturity across regions.
- Promote a culture of shared responsibility for security and service excellence across all IT and business teams.
- Encourage collaboration and inclusivity across different geographies and time zones to ensure “One Global Technology Team.”
- Create a safe environment for teams to share ideas, raise risks, and innovate without fear of failure. Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Define and maintain cybersecurity and infrastructure policies, controls and governance models across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with Audit, Legal and Compliance to ensure readiness for regulatory and client audits.
- Oversee data privacy, protection, and resilience programs across global regions, ensuring adherence to standards like GDPR and DPDPA.
- Establish and test Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) regularly. Metrics, Insights & Continuous Improvement
- Define and track key metrics (uptime, MTTR, security posture index, patch compliance, cost-to-serve, etc.).
- Leverage analytics and observability platforms to improve predictive maintenance and threat intelligence.
- Benchmark organizational maturity and continuously evolve based on lessons learned and industry trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, or TOGAF.
- Proven record in driving cultural and operational transformation within global IT organizations.
- Experience working with clients, external regulators, auditors and board-level governance reporting.
