JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Overview
Responsible for leading tender-based sales activities, GeM portal operations, and key account coordination. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, managing the complete tender lifecycle, supporting pricing and approvals, and ensuring timely order conversion and execution.
Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end tendering activities including tender identification, documentation, submission, and follow-ups.

Manage GeM portal operations such as bid participation, compliance, BOQs, reverse auctions, and order processing.

Coordinate with internal teams for technical clarifications, costing, and management approvals.

Prepare costing sheets, margin analysis, and price comparisons.

Support order booking, ERP/SAP entries, and sales reporting.

Maintain strong relationships with government utilities, OEMs, contractors, and dealers.

Track opportunities, monitor tender status, and ensure timely submission.

Guide and support junior executives in tender preparation and documentation.

Support sales campaigns, customer communication, and order execution follow-ups.
Key Skills & Competencies

Strong hands-on experience in tendering and GeM portal operations.

Knowledge of government and PSU tender processes.

Experience in costing, pricing, margin analysis, and technical coordination.

Proficiency in ERP/SAP and MS Excel reporting.

Ability to coordinate across departments and manage multiple bids.

Good communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
Educational Qualification & Experience

B.E / B.Tech / Diploma (Electrical / Mechanical / related discipline preferred).

7+ years of experience in tender-based sales, preferably in engineering/manufacturing sectors.

Proven exposure to GeM portal, government tenders, and ERP-driven sales processes.
