Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Jagruti Rehabilitation Centre. The role involves providing emotional support, therapeutic interventions, and guidance to individuals dealing with psychological, emotional, and behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of internship experience and a strong commitment to ethical practice, empathy, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group counselling sessions to clients
- Use evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support emotional and behavioral well-being
- Maintain confidential and accurate records of sessions and progress reports
- Participate in regular supervision and peer discussions
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and rehabilitation staff
- Conduct awareness or psychoeducation sessions when required
Requirements:
- Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to clinical practice.
- Demonstrated skills in Counseling and Psychological Assessment, including diagnostic evaluations, testing, and treatment planning.
- Understanding of Medicine and its interface with mental health and addiction, enabling effective collaboration with medical professionals.
- M.Phil in Clinical Psychology (RCI recognized) and/or relevant postgraduate degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology or equivalent; valid professional registration or eligibility as per local regulations.
