Aqua J1 Technologies is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Team Lead to drive business growth, manage sales operations, and achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading both the Head Office Sales Team and Showroom Sales Team, ensuring target achievement, process adherence, team development, and customer satisfaction. The role requires expertise in sales management, client acquisition, business development, CRM management, and team mentoring.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Conduct daily sales reviews, performance monitoring, and pipeline management.
- Assign leads and ensure timely follow-up by team members.
- Train and mentor Sales Executives, Pre-Sales Executives, and Business Development Executives.
- Develop sales strategies and action plans to improve conversion ratios.
- Establish sales processes, SOPs, and best practices.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and team meetings.
- Ensure proper CRM usage and reporting standards across all teams.
Revenue Generation & Business Development
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Drive new customer acquisition and business development initiatives.
- Identify new market opportunities and industry segments.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers and strategic clients.
- Handle high-value client meetings and negotiations.
- Generate revenue through cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Develop channel partners, referral networks, and strategic alliances.
- Support showroom staff in handling customer inquiries and conversions.
Sales Operations & CRM Management
- Monitor lead status, sales pipelines, and conversion metrics.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
- Track KPIs, KRAs, and team productivity.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and sales planning.
- Analyze sales data and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure timely reporting to management and maintain sales documentation.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Manage escalations and critical customer issues.
- Coordinate with operations and support teams for smooth client onboarding.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular client engagement and feedback sessions.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and account growth.
Recruitment & Team Development
- Participate in hiring and onboarding sales personnel.
- Identify training needs and improve team capabilities.
- Create growth and succession plans for team members.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Analyze competitor activities and market trends.
- Provide feedback to management regarding customer requirements.
- Suggest new services and market expansion opportunities.
- Assist management in sales planning and business strategy formulation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Sales or Business Development.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience managing a sales team.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Excel, and sales reporting tools.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi is mandatory.
