Hotel Sonar Bangla is seeking skilled and reliable Maintenance Staff to ensure the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of hotel facilities across multiple properties in West Bengal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms, public areas, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC equipment, and general infrastructure to provide a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment.
- Handle repairs related to electrical systems, plumbing, air conditioning, carpentry, painting, and civil work.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms and hotel departments.
- Ensure all machinery, generators, pumps, lighting, and utilities function properly.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in maintenance work areas.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repair work when required.
- Monitor inventory of maintenance tools, spare parts, and consumables.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel operational standards.
- Assist in renovation and property improvement projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: ITI / Diploma / Vocational Training in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in hotel, resort, or facility maintenance is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and equipment handling.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues efficiently.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in hospitality or commercial property maintenance.
- Experience handling multiple maintenance tasks independently.
- Familiarity with hotel operational standards and guest service etiquette.
Pay: From ₹13,495.14 per month
