Key Responsibilities:
1. Electrical System Design & Development
Lead design and development of vehicle and equipment electrical systems for:
Suction Excavators / Vacuum Trucks / Fire & Foam Trucks
Liquid & Solid Waste Management Equipment
Truck Superstructures (Load Bodies, Tippers, Tankers, etc.)
Heavy Machinery & Construction Equipment etc.
Develop electrical schematics, wiring harness layouts, and control panel designs using EPLAN
or AutoCAD Electrical.
Design and integrate low-voltage DC control systems for hydraulic and pneumatic subsystems
2. Control & Automation Systems
Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems and SCADA interfaces for
machine automation.
Select and integrate appropriate sensors, relays, contactors, actuators, and controllers.
Develop and validate logic for safety interlocks, system sequencing, and diagnostics.
3. Component Selection & Validation
Identify and select electrical and electronic components (PLC, HMI, wiring harnesses,
connectors, switches, etc.) based on system requirements.
Ensure compatibility of electrical systems with hydraulic and pneumatic control elements.
Support prototype builds, conduct functional testing, and ensure production readiness.
Communication with suppliers for electrical components requirements.
4. Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and maintain electrical schematics, BOMs, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and
technical manuals.
Ensure compliance with automotive and industrial electrical standards (e.g., IEC, ISO, CE, ADR,
IP ratings).
Participate in DFMEA, DVP, and Design Review activities.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with mechanical, hydraulic, and production engineering teams to ensure
seamless system integration.
Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and after-sales service as needed.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of electrical system design, low-voltage DC control, and automation
principles.
Proficiency in PLC and SCADA programming (IFM, Siemens, or similar).
Expertise in EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical for circuit and wiring design.
Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic component integration with electrical systems.
Ability to manage projects from concept to production launch.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Familiarity with PLM (Teamcenter), CAD (Solid Edge) and ERP (Oracle NetSuite) Software.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year
