Role Summary:
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding dealer networks, managing distributors, and strengthening retail distribution within the assigned territory. The role requires a strong understanding of the mattress and foam industry, market dynamics, and trade relationships to achieve business objectives and maximize market penetration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Appoint, develop, and manage dealer and distributor networks.
- Expand retail coverage and increase product availability across key markets.
- Ensure effective product placement and visibility at retail counters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and trade partners.
- Coordinate closely with distributors to drive secondary sales and retail expansion.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market share.
- Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables.
- Execute sales promotion activities and brand-building initiatives in the territory.
- Provide monthly reports on sales performance, competition analysis, and market intelligence.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve trade-related concerns effectively.
- Work independently to develop and grow the assigned territory.

Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Mattress / Foam industry and channel sales.
Experience:
- 5–10 years of experience in Mattress / Foam industry sales.
- Must have experience in dealer network management and retail distribution.
- Should have independently handled a sales territory and achieved targets consistently.
- Existing relationships with trade partners in the assigned area will be preferred.
