What this job involves:
Financial Accounting & Reporting: Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, and inter-company accounting. Manage close activities and provide accurate financial data to support management decisions.
Revenue and Cost analysis: Conduct a detailed analysis of cost and revenue and investigate the variances using multiple drivers and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Balance Sheet Reconciliation Review: Review and validate monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring timely completion and resolution of reconciling items. Establish reconciliation standards, identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
Financial Control and Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Review journal entries for accuracy, manage reporting’s and liaise with auditors regarding audit requirements.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes through technology and automation. Champion standardization initiatives that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Accounting for bonus and review of commission
Key Skills
- Qualified CA with 1 to 2 year experience / CA -Semi qualified with 4-5 years’ experience / MBA graduate with 5-6 years’ experience.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems
- Strong understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, concepts and related processes.

Work in Controllership environment involving multi business segments
Account Payable Management ensuring proper accounting and vendor management
Reconciliation of accounts ensuring they are upto date and all the open items are known and promptly acted upon
Employee Payable management – employee reimbursements management
Fixed Assets Management ensuring proper accounting for additions, retirements and keeping FA register upto date.
MIS reporting to management including variance analysis
Liaising with auditors both statutory and internal to ensure all deliverables are met.
Liaising with tax team ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.
