Job Summary
We, at Ellipsis Group, Comprising Keiyan MEP, Frontier Furniture & Touchwood Interiors, are seeking a dynamic and experienced Modular Design Draughtsman to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of design projects across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will bridge creative vision with operational execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
You will be responsible for converting architectural and engineering specifications into detailed technical drawings and plans for modular buildings or components. A key aspect of this role involves optimizing these designs for manufacturing efficiency, cost, material usage, and ease of assembly and installation, leveraging principles of modularity and prefabrication. The ideal candidate will use CAD software expertise to create precise, compliant, and highly efficient modular systems.
Key Responsibilities
· Technical Design & Drafting:
o Develop precise 2D and 3D technical drawings and shop drawings for modular furniture, including joinery details, materials, and hardware specifications.
o Develop and update standard plan templates and detail libraries for various modular components to ensure consistency and reusability.
o Ensure all drawings are clash-free and integrate seamlessly with the architectural and interior designs.
· Collaboration & Compliance:
o Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and the production team to review and adjust drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
o Ensure all designs and drawings comply with relevant industry standards, company regulations, and building codes.
o Prepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) accurately and in a timely manner.
· Quality Control & Record Keeping:
o Perform quality control checks on all structural/MEP/architectural documents.
o Maintain and update proper records of drawings, changes, and process work for future reference and project archives.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
· Experience
ü Proven experience as a Draughtsman, preferably within modular construction, manufacturing, or a related field.
· Education
ü Proven experience as a Draughtsman, preferably within modular construction, manufacturing, or a related field.
ü , Architecture, Mechanical/Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
· Soft Skill:
ü Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
ü Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to finding optimal design solutions.
ü Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Technical Knowledge:
ü Expert proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, SketchUp).
ü Strong understanding of design principles, drafting standards, and materials science.
ü Familiarity with optimization techniques and design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) is highly beneficial.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
