About Us
Role Overview
We are looking for a Video Editor with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in documentary-style and storytelling video editing. The ideal candidate understands narrative flow, pacing, emotion, and visual storytelling, not just cuts and transitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit long-form documentary and story-driven videos (10–60+ minutes)
- Shape raw footage into compelling narratives with strong emotional flow
- Select and arrange visuals, music, sound design, and pacing to enhance storytelling
- Add B-roll, archival footage, graphics, and subtitles where required
- Perform color correction, basic motion graphics, and audio clean-up
- Maintain consistency in storytelling style and brand tone
- Collaborate with writers, creators, and directors to bring stories to life
- Implement feedback and deliver polished final outputs on time
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years of professional video editing experience
- Strong experience in documentary, storytelling, or narrative-based editing
- Excellent sense of story structure, rhythm, and emotional impact
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve (After Effects is a plus)
- Good understanding of sound design, background scores, and transitions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Good to Have
- Experience editing YouTube documentaries or long-form digital content
- Understanding of audience psychology and engagement
- Experience with subtitles, captions, and YouTube-optimized edits
