Key Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years of site experience in Tank, Vessel, Drum, and Pipe/Structural steel pre-fabrication.
- Education: ITI in welding or High School Diploma.
- Certifications: AWS certification preferred; Saudi Aramco approved vendor third-party certification is mandatory.
- Welding Proficiencies:
- Shell Welding: 2G (Horizontal), 3G (Vertical) positions via manual SMAW or automatic SAW.
- Bottom Plate: 2G, 3G (SMAW) or SAW fillet welding in 1G and 1F.
- Nozzle & Shell Attachment: 6G, 2G, 3G, and 4G positions using GTAW and SMAW processes.
Core Responsibilities
- Interpret technical blueprints and welding symbols to plan layouts.
- Cut, grind, and clean metal surfaces for preparation.
- Execute precise MIG, TIG, and SMAW/Stick welding in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Inspect finished welds for defects and accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Adhere strictly to HSE procedures, wear PPE, and work safely in tight spaces or under physical labor conditions.
- Willingness to deploy and execute projects in any region across the Kingdom.
Working Conditions
- Duration: 6 days a week, 8 hours a day.
- Must handle physical labor, heat, and working at heights or in awkward positions.
